My focus is on machine learning methods for music and speech processing! This includes research topics such as speech enhancement, dereverberation, diarization, and sound classification. So far I have developed models for Google X, Spotify, and Amazon through summer internships.
Prior to grad school, I did software engineering work for Qualcomm and webmastering work for Yellow Box.
I relish opportunities to teach others and have helped to facilitate courses such as Deep Learning Systems (ENGR-E 533), Machine Learning for Signal Proccessing (ENGR-E 511), and The Art of Web Programming (CS 498RK).
Since 2010, I have enjoyed mixing electronic dance music. While in college, I worked as a supporting front-of-house audio engineer for The Canopy Club.
In my spare time, I love watching movies, sharing new music, traveling, and taking candid photographs. I'm a big fan of Dance Dance Revolution too!
